Indications
CAV-VAC® vaccine is indicated for the vaccination of breeder replacement chickens one time at 10 weeks of age and older for the prevention of chicken infectious anemia in their progeny. Hens should be vaccinated at least 6 weeks before the onset of egg production.

Administration and Dosage
The time of administration should be determined by the degree chicken infectious anemia exposure, type of chicken being vaccinated, and the current management procedures. CAV-VAC® is approved for use via wing web application.

Vaccination
The best protection is obtained when the replacement pullets are vaccinated uniformly prior to exposure to field CAV to induce consistent high circulating antibody levels in the breeder hens. The vaccine should be administered via the wing web application method using the enclosed 2-prong applicator.

Caution
1. Refer to the package insert for specific directions.
2. Do not vaccinate chickens in lay or within 6 weeks of the onset of lay.
