Newcastle-Bronchitis Vaccine B1 Type, LaSota Strain, Mass and Conn Types Live Virus
COMBOVAC-30® combines the unique, Clone 30 strain of Newcastle disease (ND) virus with the highly immunogenic Connaught laboratory strain of Massachusetts type, infectious bronchitis (IB) virus and the Connecticut type infectious bronchitis virus. It is a lyophilized vaccine approved for spray or drinking water vaccination of chickens two weeks of age or older for protection against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis (Massachusetts and Connecticut types).
Description
COMBOVAC-30® vaccine contains:
• Clone 30 strain Newcastle Disease virus
• Connaught laboratory strain of Massachusetts-type infectious bronchitis virus
• Connecticut type-infectious bronchitis virus

Indications
COMBOVAC-30® vaccine is indicated for the vaccination of chickens at two weeks of age and older for protection against Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis (Mass and Conn types).
Administration and Dosage
The time of administration should be determined by the degree of Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis exposure, type of chicken being vaccinated, and the current management procedures. COMBOVAC-30® vaccine is approved for use via spray or drinking water application.
Vaccination:
The best protection is obtained when the vaccinated chickens have time to develop immunity prior to exposure to Newcastle disease or infectious bronchitis virus. Good management practices are recommended to reduce the exposure to these viruses for at least 3 weeks following vaccination.
Caution
- Refer to the package insert for specific directions.
- Vaccinate only healthy birds.
- All susceptible birds on the same premises should be vaccinated at the same time.
- Do not dilute the vaccine or otherwise stretch the dosage of the vaccine.
- Use entire contents of the vial when first opened.
- Do not vaccinate chickens within 21 days of slaughter
- WARNING: Newcastle virus occasionally causes conjunctivitis in humans. Avoid any contact of the vaccine with eyes.
- Avoid exposure of this vaccine to sunlight.
