IB-VAC-H®

Bronchitis Vaccine

Massachusetts Type Live Virus

IB-VAC-H® is a highly immunogenic lyophilized vaccine for vaccination of chickens to protect agains infection with the massachusetts-type of infectious bronchitis (IB) virus. It is approived for drinking water and coarse vaccination of chickens four weeks of age or older to boost immunity in previously vaccinated birds.

Indications
IB-VAC-H® is indicated for the vaccination of chickens at four weeks of age or older, following prior vaccination with a milder IB vaccine, for the prevention of infectious bronchitis (Massachusetts-type).

Administration and Dosage
The time of administration should be determined by the degree of infectious bronchitis exposure, type of chicken being vaccinated, and the current management procedures. IB-VAC-H® is approved for use via drinking water application.

Vaccination
IB-VAC-H® is recommended for revaccination to maximize antibody titer response and should be used following initial vaccination with a milder IB strain. Allow four weeks post-vaccination before application of an inactivated IB vaccine. The best protection is obtained when the vaccinated chickens have time to develop immunity prior to exposure to infectious bronchitis virus. Good management practices are recommended to reduce the exposure to this virus for at least 3 weeks following vaccination.

Caution
1. Refer to the package insert for specific directions.
2. Vaccinate only healthy birds.
