Bronchitis Vaccine

Arkansas Type, Live Virus 

Mildvac-Ark® vaccine is a mild-reacting lyophilized vaccine for the protection of chickens against the Arkansas type of infectious bronchitis (IB). It is approved for spray vaccination of chickens one day of age or older. 




Indications
MILDVAC-Ark® vaccine is indicated for the vaccination of healthy chickens at one day of age or older for protection agains infectious bronchitis (Arkansas type).

Administration and Dosage
The time of administration should be determined by the degree of infectious bronchitis exposure, type of chicken being vaccinated, and the current management procedures. Mildvac-Ark® vaccine is approved for use via coarse spray in chickens at one day of age or older.

Vaccination
The best protection is obtained when the vaccinated chickens have time to develop immunity prior to exposure to infectious bronchitis virus. Good management practices are recommended to reduce the exposure to this virus for at least 3 weeks following vaccination.



Caution

1. Refer to the package insert for specific directions.
2. Vaccinate only healthy birds.
3. All susceptible birds on the same premises should be vaccinated at the same time.
4. Do not dilute the vaccine or otherwise stretch the dosage of the vaccine.
5. Use entire contents of the vial when first opened.
6. Do not vaccinate chickens within 21 days of slaughter.
