Newcastle Disease Vaccine B1 Type, C2 Strain, Live Virus

NEWHATCH-C2® is the patented, virtually non-reactive C2 strain of B1 type Newcastle Disease (ND) virus. It is a lyophilized vaccine approved for spray vaccination of chickens one day of age or older for protection against Newcastle disease.

Indications

NEWHATCH-C2® vaccine is indicated for the vaccination of healthy chickens at one day of age or older by coarse spray for protection against Newcastle disease.

Administration and Dosage
The time of administration should be determined by the degree of Newcastle disease exposure, type of chicken being vaccinated, and the current management procedures. NEWHATCH-C2 is approved for use via coarse spray at one day of age or older.

Vaccination
The best protection is obtained when the vaccinated chickens have time to develop immunity prior to exposure to Newcastle disease virus. Good management practices are recommended to reduce the exposure to this virus for at least 3 weeks following vaccination.

Caution
1. Refer to the package insert for specific directions.
2. Vaccinate only healthy birds.
3. All susceptible birds on the same premises should be vaccinated at the same time.
4. Do not dilute the vaccine or otherwise stretch the dosage of the vaccine.
5. Use entire contents of the vial when first opened.
6. Do not vaccinate chickens within 21 days of slaughter.
