TRIPLEVAC®

Newcastle-Bronchitis Vaccine
B1 Type, B1 Strain, Mass and Conn Types Live Virus
TRIPLEVAC® vaccine combines a highly immunogenic B1 type B1 strain of Newcastle disease (ND) virus with the well-established infectious bronchitis (IB) protection provided by the Intervet mild Massachusetts and Connecticut types of infectious bronchitis virus. It is a lyophilized vaccine approved for spray or drinking water vaccination of chickens for protection against Newcastle disease and Massachusetts and Connecticut types of infectious bronchitis.
Indications
TRIPLEVAC® vaccine is indicated for the vaccination of chickens at one day of age or older for the prevention of Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis (Massachusetts and Connecticut types).
Administration and Dosage
The exact route and time of administration should be determined by the degree of Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis exposure, type of chicken being vaccinated, and the current management procedures. The vaccine is approved for use via coarse spray at one day of age and via spray or drinking water as a field boost in chickens two weeks of age or older.
Vaccination
The best protection is obtained when the vaccinated chickens have time to develop immunity prior to exposure to Newcastle disease or infectious bronchitis virus. Good management practices are recommended to reduce the exposure to these viruses for at least 3 weeks following vaccination.
Caution
1. Refer to the package insert for specific directions.
2. Vaccinate only healthy birds.
3. All susceptible birds on the same premises should be vaccinated at the same time. 4. Do not dilute the vaccine or otherwise stretch the dosage of the vaccine.
5. Use entire contents of the vial when first opened.
6. Do not vaccinate chickens within 21 days of slaughter.
7. WARNING: Newcastle virus occasionally causes conjunctivitis in humans. Avoid any contact of the vaccine with eyes.
