Description
The reconstituted vaccine product contains modified-live cultures of bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus.
Indications
The vaccine is recommended for the vaccination of healthy cattle, 3 months of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by infectious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR) virus. Respiratory Duration of Immunity has been dmonstrated to be at least 182 days. Calves nursing immune-dams should be vaccinated when maternal antibody levels will allow active immunication.
Additional Claims
The product is also recommended for use as an aid in the reduction of abortion due to IBR. Reproductive Duration of Immunity has been demonstrated to be at least 217 days.
Administration and Dosage
Inject 2.0 mL subcutaneously to healthy cattle 3 months of age or older. Annual revaccination is recommended.
Caution
Store refrigerated at 35-45oF (2-7oC). Do not freeze. Use immediately after reconstitution; do not save partial contents. Burn the containers and all unused product. Use only in healthy cattle. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not use in pregnant cows or in calves nursing pregnant cows. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Contains penicillin and streptomycin as preservatives.
