PROGARD®-CPv with CPV strain 154®

PROGARD®-CPv vaccine is a modified live virus vaccine containing an attenuated strain of parvovirus grown in the PRO-CELL STABLE CELL LINETM. PROGARD®-CPv is presented in a ready-to-use, liquid form.
The parvovirus strain in PROGARD®-CPv is an attenuated strain of canine origin. The virus used in the patented* CPV STRAIN 154® is grown using Intervet's unique InterTekTM production process. This process produces parvovirus at a high titer which is highly immunogenic.
Indications
PROGARD®-CPv is for vaccination of healthy dogs against canine parvovirus infection.
Administration and Dosage
Aseptically administer 1 mL subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Initial vaccination of healthy dogs may be given as early as four weeks of age with booster injections administered every 3-4 weeks until 12 weeks of age. Dogs over 12 weeks of age should initially receive two doses 3-4 weeks apart. Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended.
Caution
- Recommended storage temperature 35-45oF (2-7oC). Do not freeze.
- Shake well before use.
- Use contents promptly once reconstituted.
- Non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes should be used for administration of vaccine.
- Avoid vaccinating pregnant bitches.
- Contains gentamicin as a preservative.
- Burn this container and all unused contents.
Only healthy animals should be vaccinated. Animals incubating any disease, or animals stressed due to shipping, malnutrition or parasitism may not achieve or maintain an adequate immune response. - This product is not hazardous when used according to directions supplied.
Antidote
Administration of epinephrine may be indicated in the event of an anaphylactic reaction.
