Continuum® DA

Continuum® DA is a modified live virus vaccine containing attenuated strains of canine distemper virus (CDV) and adenovirus type 2 (CAV-2). Continuum DA is presented in a desiccated form with sterile diluent provided for reconstitution. The attenuated distemper virus strain used in Continuum DA is the Onderstepoort strain. Continuum DA is produced with a high-titered CDV component which is immunogenic. The Manhattan strain of adenovirus type 2 in Continuum DA confers protection against canine infectious hepatitis caused by CAV-1 without the adverse reactions associated with CAV-1, such as corneal edema (“blue eye”).
