Estrumate® Prostaglandin

Pharmaceutical Name
cloprostenol sodium
Features and Benefits
For intramuscular use to induce luteolysis in beef and dairy cattle. The luteolytic action of Estrumate can be utilized to manipulate the estrous cycle to better fit certain management practices, to terminate pregnancies resulting from mismatings, and to treat certain conditions associated with prolonged luteal function.
- Half-life for ESTRUMATE prostaglandin is 3 hours versus a few minutes for Lutalyse.1
Estrumate prostaglandin lasts much longer than Lutalyse. The responsiveness of the corpus luteum to prostaglandin injection increases progressively during the early and mid-stage of the estrous cycle.2
Reliable heat. - ESTRUMATE prostaglandin is a more potent luteolytic agent than Lutalyse.3
Detectable heat. - ESTRUMATE prostaglandin quickly reduces a progesterone levels4 and provides a rapid estrus response.5
Convenience. - When you’re synchronizing, nothing beats the convenience of ESTRUMATE prostaglandin:
- 50-Dose and 10-Dose Bottles
- 2-mL Dose for Heifers and Cows
