PANACUR® POWERPAC Provides Optimum Parasite Control PANACU POWERPAC (fenbendazole paste) provides larvicidal killing action for optimum parasite control. Panacur Powerpac has a high degree of efficacy against the predominant internal parasites in horses-large and small strongyles including larval stages, pinworms, and ascarids-for most effective treatment. For best results, use in all newly arrived horses and then once or twice per year. Convenient, oral administration and unique apple-cinnamon flavor make Panacur Powerpac easy to administer. Safe-Guard® Paste Includes Larvicidal Activity Safe-Guard (fenbendazole) is indicated for the control of large strongyles (Strongylus edentatus, S. equinus, S. vulgaris), encysted early third stage (hypobiotic), late third- bd and fourth-stage cyathostome larvae, small strongyles, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), ascarids (Parascaris equorum), and arteritis caused by fourth stage larvae of Strongylus vulgaris in horses. Small Strongyles. Big problems. Solution: Safe-Guard Power-Dose® Fenbendazole, the ingredient in Safe-Guard Power-Dose is the only one FDA-approved to treat all stages of encysted small strongyles. Other products may claim to treat encysted small strongyles, but only Safe-Guard Power-Dose effectively controls all stages – including EL3’s. In fact, studies show Safe-Guard Power-Dose provides 98% reduction encysted EL3’s and as much as a 96% reduction in LL3/L4 populations1.
